When you tap Generate Postcard, we send the request data needed to fulfill that feature to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, using the qwen-image-plus model at https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/api/v1/services/aigc/multimodal-generation/generation. This request includes your selected location, optional extra description, selected image size, and the generated prompt built from that input. We use this data only to generate the postcard image you request.
When you use AI Guide, we send your text question to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, using the qwen-vl-plus model at https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1/chat/completions. If you choose to attach a photo, that selected photo is also sent for that specific request. We use this data only to return the AI Guide response you request.
According to Alibaba Cloud's published documentation for the China mainland deployment, data for this deployment is associated with North China 2 (Beijing).
Before the first AI request is sent from Generate Postcard or AI Guide, Vireli shows an AI Feature Consent prompt. The prompt explains what request data will be sent, why it is used, which third-party AI provider receives it, how the data is stored, how retention works, and where to review this Privacy Policy. If you tap "Not Now", the AI request is canceled and no request data is transmitted to the third-party AI provider.
Vireli does not use face recognition, identity verification, biometric enrollment, or facial profiling features. However, if you choose to upload a photo to AI Guide, the selected photo may include visible facial features, including the face and lip area when present, together with your text question. We treat this as face data only for the limited purpose of processing your specific AI Guide image request.
We use this face data only to generate the image-based travel response you request in AI Guide. We do not use it for face recognition, identity verification, profiling, advertising, biometric templates, face embeddings, or identity profiles.
When you choose to send an AI Guide photo request, we share the selected photo and your related text prompt with Alibaba Cloud DashScope, using the Qwen-VL-Plus model at https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1/chat/completions. According to Alibaba Cloud's published documentation for the China mainland deployment, data for this deployment is associated with North China 2 (Beijing). This third-party processing is used only to return the AI Guide response you request.
We do not store the source photo on our own servers. In the app, the selected photo is held only in memory for the active request/session so the current message can render, and it is not written to long-term local history by this version of the app. If you later save any generated postcard or other media to your own device, that saved file is controlled by you and can be deleted by you at any time.
For the AI Guide face-data flow, Vireli does not retain the source photo after the active request/session ends. Alibaba Cloud states in its public privacy notice that transmitted data is encrypted and not used for model training, and that model/application call data is stored in accordance with applicable law and its service terms. Vireli does not create biometric templates or maintain face profiles.
Before any AI Guide photo request is sent, Vireli shows a dedicated Face Data Consent prompt. The prompt explains what data will be sent, why it is used, who the third-party processor is, how the data is stored, and where to review this Privacy Policy. If you tap "Not Now" or close the request flow, the image request is canceled and no photo is transmitted to the third-party AI provider.
Vireli does not store AI request payloads on its own servers for Generate Postcard or AI Guide. Generated postcard images, selected location, optional description, and selected size are stored locally on your device in postcard history until you delete them. AI Guide text history is stored locally on your device until app data is cleared or account data is deleted. Temporary image result URLs returned by the postcard provider are used only long enough for the app to download the generated image.
The AI Feature Consent choice is stored locally on your device until app data is cleared or account data is deleted in the app. For AI Guide face-data requests, the selected source photo is held only in memory for the active request/session and is not written to long-term local history by this version of the app. Provider-side request records may be retained by Alibaba Cloud DashScope in accordance with applicable law and its service terms.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data is primarily stored locally on your device. When you actively use a requested feature that depends on a third-party provider, only the data needed to fulfill that request is transmitted to the relevant provider as described in this Privacy Policy.

Vireli is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Vireli, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. Your continued use of Vireli after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
